The water and beaches of Tawas Bay are perfect for all kinds of recreation. Located on US-23, East Tawas. No Fee; pavilion, children's play equipment; picnic area with grills, gazebo, and bathrooms nearby in park offices.

Tawas City Beach

Located on US-23, Tawas City. No Fee; pavilion, children's play equipment; picnic area with grills, small stage and seating area, bathrooms.

Tawas Point State Park

Tawas Beach Road, East Tawas. Day or Annual Fee; pavilion, bathroom and changing facility, children's play equipment, picnic area with grills.

Sand Lake Beach

Indian Lake Road, National City. U.S. Forest Service Fee Area, picnic area, pit toilet.

Long Lake Public Beach

Kokosing Road, Hale. No Fee; picnic area, swimming and beach area.

Loon Lake Public Beach

Near Hale (go west on Esmond Rd./Main St. at the light on M-65 to Putnam Road) No Fee; picnic area, pit toilet.
